Student Ethnography Project  

In the fall of 2024, the Centre for Learning Strategy Support collaborated with Professor Tania Li in the Department of Anthropology to host fourth-year students in an ethnography practicum.  

Three students chose CLSS as a site of study for their class project. They spent several weeks on-site, practicing their ethnographic skills in an attempt to better understand the dynamics and institutional purpose of the department. This was a mutually beneficial experience – students had a deep experiential learning experience and CLSS gained valuable insight from their findings.
