Career Pathway Series for Neurodivergent Students

This six-week series in collaboration with CxED and Accessibility Services supported students and recent graduates who identify as neurodivergent in exploring career interests, setting goals and navigating the job search process.

Session topics included:

  • Self-awareness and career exploration
  • Networking and building communities of support
  • Disclosure and accommodations at work
  • Application Strategies
  • Setting next steps and career planning

This offering increased students’ access to inclusive virtual and physical spaces for connection and dialogue to explore their career interests, needs, curiosity, and strengths, and gain resources to support their current and future goals.

In addition to the structured content, many participants remained after sessions to continue conversations with facilitators and peers. These informal discussions contributed to the creation of a peer-supported environment that extended beyond the program itself.

Objective: 1.3

Support students and recent graduates in developing skills that build on their values and strengths, so that they can reach their present and future personal, academic, and career goals.
