Changemakers Certificate participants
Developing changemakers through grassroots engagement
An initiative that encouraged personal development this year was the Changemakers Certificate program, where participants explored social movements and local examples of grassroots organizing.
Working for change
Changemakers Certificate participants were involved in more than 27 grassroots movements, including:

Supporting your growth with inclusive learning and career resources
Resources such as The Guide to Experiential Learning Accommodations for Faculty, Staff and Supervisors and the Career Pathway Series for Neurodivergent Students aimed to support students’ access to inclusive spaces and opportunities for experiential learning and career exploration by addressing disability related barriers and fostering communities of support.
Creating practical learning
through academic partnership
The Centre for Learning Strategy Support (CLSS) and the Department of Anthropology collaborated on
The Student Ethnography Project, which helped students gain deep experiential learning experience
while providing valuable insight to CLSS.
Celebrating academic achievement in culturally meaningful ways
Indigenous Graduation created an opportunity for students to celebrate academic achievements in a culturally relevant way with peers, families and Elders.
Amplifying international graduates’ career journeys
Life After Graduation highlighted the stories of recent international student grads who accessed supports in career development.
