Honoring Indigenous knowledge and experiences through education and community events
Programs such as the Five-part Medicine Wheel Career Series and Indigenous Education Week highlighted Indigenous approaches of learning and knowing. This supported a holistic approach to the post-secondary journey that honoured students’ lived experiences.

Helping students build skills and achieve their goals
Through the Learning How to Learn Series and Learning Well Program, Student Life supported students and recent graduates in developing skills that are built on their values and strengths. Graduate student workshops, the Tutor Training Program and accompanying Tutor Directory also helped students reach their personal, academic and career goals.

Empowering students through experiential learning and global engagement
Diverse experiential learning opportunities like Seeds of Change, the Global Learning Case Competition and Minor in Global Leadership empowered students to be civically and socially engaged in local and global communities.

Strengthening skills and confidence
The Making Effective Referrals e-course provided virtual and in-person ways for students to explore, experiment and build on their strengths in an accessible and inclusive environment.
For cultural events, 50.3% of attendance instances were graduate students. This highlights the increasing demand for specialized support for graduate students and the resonance of our offerings.
