Virtual Grad Tours

The Grad-Focused Campus Resources and Spaces Virtual Tour Video was developed in August 2023, in collaboration with SL Communications, to fill the need for an accessible alternative to the in-person grad tours.  The intention of the project was to allow more incoming graduate students to become aware of the services and spaces available to them while helping them navigate campus.

This video was a complement to the in-person tours that happen during fall and winter orientations. The demand for the in-person tours often exceeds capacity and registration is normally capped. The video was developed as an alternative and more accessible way to enable all graduate students to learn about our services, programs and spaces when and where they want to.

So far, the video has been viewed 2003 times.  A tour companion guide was also created as a resource for graduate students.

Objective: 2.2

Improve the navigation of programs, services, and resources through committing to student-centered, inclusive, and universal design principles, so that diverse students have the tools and agency to find what they need, when they need it.
