Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) TA Training Pilot 

Community Engaged Learning course instructors who had TAs could apply to have their TAs undertake 10 hours of training and support in a multicourse, multidisciplinary online cohort running alongside CEL course delivery. Topics included: 

  • What and Why CEL? 
  • Working with Community Partners 
  • Supporting CEL Group Work 
  • Reflection: Objectives and Strategies 
  • Assessment and Grading in CEL 
  • Troubleshooting 

The objective was for participating TAs to be equipped to better support course instructors in CEL course delivery.
