Director Student Life IT Strategy, Innovations and Digital Transformation
In his first few months in the role, Vik Chadalawada was able to consult widely within all departments at Student Life, while crafting a culture for IT portfolio management.
He has also been instrumental in driving forward transformative initiatives within Student Life IT. Partnering with the renowned industry research firm Info-Tech, Vik has leveraged their trusted framework to enable Digital Transformation & Strategic Innovation. This collaboration has laid the groundwork for a structured and sustainable approach to elevating IT service offerings, governance and operational process management.
One of the most visible and impactful changes this year within Student Life has been the revitalization of the IT support processes. IT operational workflows have been streamlined with a vision toward AI-powered automation. These enhancements aim to improve efficiency, reduce response times, free up support resources to focus on major initiatives and create a seamless support experience for all the teams within Student Life.

Most recently, Vik has spearheaded the launch of an IT Strategic Vision Diagnostic within Student Life. This diagnostic tool, which is a first step in a multi-pronged strategic plan implementation program, is designed to evaluate the current state of IT operations while strategically mapping out a vision for the future. This key initiative exemplifies Student Life IT’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the Student Life IT ecosystem.
