Global Fluencies Series for Teaching Staff
The Centre for International Experience in partnership with the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation and the Teaching Assistants’ Training Program developed intercultural and global fluencies workshops for teaching assistants and course instructors.
These are also available to all staff and faculty members across the University.

This series focuses on building intercultural competence within teacher training staff members to use in a classroom setting and for to inform programs while working with international students.
This will also prepare TAs to be able to support students in their classes and effectively communicate and understand the nuances of a students’ experience when interacting with them. These modules are essential to providing culturally relevant resources to all teaching faculty and staff members, supporting the student experience.
