Accessibility Services Mental Health and Learning Support Program
This mental health and learning support program offered by Accessibility Services is designed to assist students who are feeling overwhelmed or may be experiencing difficulty coping, either psychologically or academically.
The program supports students to better manage stress and improve their academic performance by navigating the personal stressors that can often get in the way of school.
Students receive 10-12 sessions with an MSW intern, who will work with them to help them meet their goals. This program operated both virtually and in-person.
Objective: 2.4
Provide and promote culturally responsive programs, services, and resources that embody a culture of care, and supports students at all points along the mental health continuum (from mental well-being to urgent crisis).
